Situated on top of a limestone plateau in the best part of Puisseguin, 21ha of vineyard are planted mostly with Merlot and Cabernet Franc.

In 2001, Sylvie Douce & François Jeantet purchased this historic 100ha property regularly visited by King Henri IV.
It has been restored and 9ha of vineyard have been replanted so far on a wonderful mosaic of terroirs.
Each grape, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon are on a different type of soil for full expression.
Without making any compromises Chateau l'Isle Fort has now regained its fame and produces the best wines of Entre-Deux-Mers.
